BIOTAC MP 2

Castrol BioTac MP2 is an EU Ecolabel registered Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant, multipurpose EP grease based on Lithium Calcium thickener technology, saturated ester and an optimised performance additive system to impart corrosion protection, oxidation stability and load carrying capability. The adhesive properties of the grease improve water resistance and thus reduce the potential for wash off.
Castrol BioTac MP2 is EU Ecolabel for lubricants registered. The EU Ecolabel is a label of environmental excellence that is awarded for products and services meeting high environmental standards throughout their life-cycle, from raw material extraction, to production, distribution and disposal. Castrol BioTac MP2 exceeds the requirements of EU Ecolabel in regard to the certified sustainably sourced renewable content of the grease and the post-consumer plastic content of the packaging.
Castrol BioTac MP2 complies with current 2018 US Vessel Incidental Discharges Act (VIDA) criteria for Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EALs) as it meets 2013 US Vessel General Permit (VGP) biodegradation, bioaccumulation and toxicity requirements.
